Had my 'new' exhaust bits fitted this week - ACT manifolds, cats and cherry bomb system. All of it except the cats was 2nd hand but well made and in great condition. Sounds absolutely brilliant (think pre-cat Griff) and looks the business. It's no louder but the noise seems (to my ears) much nicer and slightly angrier when pressing on.

No noticeable performance gains just yet but they should come when I have the car mapped to suit. Still unsure whether to go with Mark Adams or ditch the 14CUX/dizzy combo and go MS/Emerald/MBE/Canems.

All fitted by Rich at Southways Automotive in Fareham - good old school mechanic and TVR enthusiast. Recommended.

Anyone want a cheap semi-sleeved Chim exhaust?

That looks nice!!! I was thinking about going semi-sleeved myself. I currently sleeved and decatted and it's loud, but sounds awesome when provoked. It even snarls when you change gear!

Would love to get this setup on the Griff... but with impending house purchase it'll be a while yet frown

It is expensive but I watched PH classifieds, TVRCC for sale forum and Ebay for months to get the system together. Couldn't afford to buy it all new!

They were on PH classifieds for less than 2 hours before I snapped them up smile
