Right day wrong place .
Discussion
I got up nice and early ,sandwiches and flask all made up , looking forward to a good day out to catch up with the lads .
I got there it was empty then after a few phone calls I realised it was the wrong track
The track I went to was Blyton not Bedford ,so I did a 100 mile trip for nothing ..
What did worry me is the oil pressure gauge reading zero on idle .. help would be appreciated .

Start questioning whether the oil brand you keep quoting is capable of standing up to the heat/stress in the engine?
It only happening on the road, no stress on the engine .LordGrover said:
Isn't that level rather than pressure?
I don't think so, its an oil pressure switch, so with the engine stopped there is no pressure so the light is on. When you start the engine, the pressure builds and with luck gets to the point that the switch turns off and the light goes off, indicating that there is oil pressure.Gassing Station | Chimaera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
