Chimaera Safety !!
Discussion
We TVR drivers put up with a lot of talk about how unsafe our cars are (ABS, Airbags etc), but on Sunday I discovered a simply wonderful & effective piece of safety kit on my 450 which I don't think has received the attention it deserves - the roof.
Being an unseasonally sunny October Sunday I went out, sans roof, to clear the pipes and 20mins into my drive the top of my head was introduced to a conker. No warning, no shout of 'incoming'!!! By the time I had finished my drive, autumns artillery had fired another conker, 2 sweet chestnuts and a whole hoast of plant life into my cabin.
Those boffins at TVR were really cooking on gas when they came up with this 'roof' safety system. And there is something about a removable safety feature that is so TVR....
