Servicing heaven or hell?
Discussion
Just been to RT racing in Sheffield to sort out a rattling from the back end. Fearing the 'TVR curse' I got straight down there. I was immediately offered a cup of the tea and after some careful maneouvering of 3 other cars (I think every TVR in Sheffield is in there at the moment) the car was on the ramp.
Fortunately only the exhaust mounting needed adjusting and this was swiftly taken care of. About 15mins work and NO CHARGE!
Are all TVR specialists this good? Has anyone had any servicing nightmares? No need to name names!!

Ive had acouple of absolute shockers with a couple of different dealers.
The first was when my Chim was due to go in to have the hood replaced. Unfortunately I had to be recovered there by the AA after the fuel injection relay packed in. The roof was going to take them about a week and they sourced the problem (fuel injection relay) quickly so i thought i would have my P&J back in about 10 days. I didnt get my car back for 5 weeks after they had a massive cluster with the roof, and not even a courtesy car!
The second was when my car went in for its 12000 service. I had spoken to the dealer when i had booked the car in about a few problems that needed sorted which were covered by the warranty and was assured they would be done. When i picked the car up, these problems hadnt been resolved and they had spilt some kind of solvent on the rear screen and part of the hood which despite their best efforts didnt come out!
I think i have just been unlucky to be honest, as the mojority of other dealers i have had contact with have been superb!
