Folks, inside the off-side of my front bumper / nose are two connectors, as attached. I cannot see recipients for these. The near-side fan is not working, but as I recall it is not wired in series in any event - on newer cars it is through the fuse box.

Any ideas?

Nearside fan - its not one of those connectors, but is a common fault.
On my 99 Chimaera, there are two cables inside the engine compartment, lying in the tray just below the radiator, that are the power supplies to the fans, one cable to each fan. The white connectors in those cables tend to get corroded or full of rubbish, and if you clean/waggle them you suddenly find you have two working fans again

The other connector, not uploaded last time for some reason (also upside down for some reason, as is above):

Not too sure about the first connector.

Second connector looks very similar to what I have on the carbon canister. Offside wing is the correct location for that. Different colour on mine but looks like the same style.

Looks like the aircon connectors to me?

No aircon, although connectors look less than pristine. Worryingly, they do not look as if they have been unused for 10 years or more - suggesting they may have a use...

Where does the connector go on the Carbon Cannister?

That second pic does look quite like a fan connector. Can you find two cables with two white plastic connectors (two pin) in the middle of them, lying under the radiator?

Best pic I have I'm afraid. It slides in between the 2 pipes together and the lone pipe at the edge. The start of the connector housing can be seen next to the jubilee clip on the 2 pipes together.

Hope that makes sense.

It does - bravo.

Two options for the smaller connector.

Worryingly it is the larger connector that looks pristine (and might therefore have a use). One pin is corroded but otherwise OK.

Check with meter to see if live with lights on, engine on etc. Have separate fuses for my 2 fans. One stopped working when a fuse fell out on bumpy fen roads.

Not the rad fans connector as they are flat male/female connector type. I know, I did mine a few days back. Get some sand paper and WD40 and give them a good clean. You'll find both fans will work again. I used tape to insulate min afterwards.

the wiring loom is pretty standard irrespective of fitted options, so you may have "spare" connectors....

Not fans - though did find them, clean them up, and get both fans working again. Joy.

Still no idea but I misled the audience, as it were. They are on the nearside, not the offside. The above pics are upside down (don't know why).

Does anyone know of a list of unused or optional connectors on TVRs?

Rich
