Trying to remove the pedal box on a 99 chimaera to get the servo out, all the posts I can find just say release all the pedals etc remove stuff bolted to the box ie servo and clutch cylinder.

What I'm not sure about is, at the top of the pedal box is what looks like a motor I assume this is the windscreen wiper motor bolted on the end as there is not one under the bonnet.

How do I remove / unbolt it ? or will the pedal box move enough to drop out the servo without damaging the linkage.

I did this on a 95 model as I punched a hole thought the pedal box on the clutch peddle, if IIRC undo the throttle cable and clutch/ brake peddles then the bolts that are on the inner wing and connections to the master cylinder and I think it pulls out it was a struggle as I remember, may well be different on a later model. Check on the back of the motor for 3 bolts (may be allen bolts). They should be holding the "wheel" housing to the pedal box/frame.
Hope this has helped
Does the motor need removing to get I out, you just have to disconnect the linkage which is probably a pinch bolt, easier said than done, no doubt though

Ok I'll take another look, my main concern was if I pull it still attached it will bend/buckle the wiper linkage.

Don't need to take it out completely just rotate it so the servo will drop out into foot well, but with wiper motor still attached it will prob bend the linkage.

The wiper linkage is usually on a ball socket easily popped off with some long nose pliers levering under the arrows on the pic (should be just one on your car)unplug the motor & then just pull out the whole pedal box assy out and remove the servo hopefully (please note pic not of TVR)
