Hood tensioners

Just wondered if there was anyway of adjusting the tension on the hood tensioners as mine keep coming "undone"?

Sounds like hood has streched, what about adding a few washers to the rear fittings effectivley extending the length

Thats how I solved the problem .Dont go mad with the washers though. 1 was just right for mine ,2 made it too hard to straighten the tensioners .
