They no worky frown

Just the lights inside the gauges, the clock still works as do all of the little led lights on the heater etc. The fuses are all fine and banging the dashboard hasn't fixed it, that little adjuster thing on the steering column has never done anything since I have had the car so that may be my first port of call. The only other thing I can think of is that I had the radio out last week, do all of the instruments feed from behind there somewhere?

I will have to keep the roof off at night so that I can see the gauges biggrin

The adjuster thing on the steering column is the intermittent wiper delay adjuster!

The dash lights are controlled by a button under the dashboard by your left knee - similar to the boot release button.

Ooohh.. I was told that the button on top of my left knee turns off the boot release button to stop you accidently opening it, the adjuster on the column controls the dials and the one to the right of the gearstick is something to do with the aircon.

The button on the centre console for the AC is the cabin recirculation button I think. I don't have AC so can't be certain.

paperbag Pressed the button, they come on.

Wonder when I did that then, still I'm glad that I asked before pulling the dash apart. Thanking you biggrin

We all do it at some time in the first month or so of ownership, and about once every six months thereafter.

...unless you decide that it's a pretty pointless "feature" that is more hassle than it's worth and remove the switch. hehe

Somebody will tell you what it actually does, and you will likely find that it works perfectly. RTFM springs to mind?
