I've just taken the drivers seat out to refurb it and noticed these weird 'raisers' at the front of the runners. They weren't on the passenger seat that I took out so I just want to check that they should be there (and should they also be on the passenger seat?).

The holes in the fibre glass in the floor are in the correct place.

Thanks.

That's correct, they are only fitted to the drivers side to give your upper legs support

Would it be worth fabricating some raisers for the passenger side to give their upper legs support?

That's what I was just thinking and it should be a very easy thing to make.

(And give 'slightly' more leg room as well.

Not if you make your own raisers with the bolt coming down at the same place.

Ie a bit of box section with the bolt directly below the current runner bolt. (I think!)

Surely just a longer bolt and a pile of big washers would do the trick? I need to take my seats out anyway, to replace the carpets, so will try it when I put the seats back in.

Can these be removed to offer more headroom? In fact can anything be done down there to help with this?

They are only on the front, not the rear, so headroom unaffected.
