Hi all,

so after a nice weekend of fitting a new PAS pump and hoses, the chimp rewarded my by pissing PAS oil out underneath. All newly fitted parts are fine and dry, but even just sitting there, engine off, a mid-sized puddle forms on the ground. I had the car on the ramp yesterday evening and found out that the oil is litterally flowing out of the bit where the steering column fits into the rack (excuse my ignorance for not knowing the term).

Does anybody know which seal I need to order to stop the oil flowing out here ('96 PAS Serp chimp if that helps)? Has anyone done this job before? Is it easy enough and can it be doen without removing the rack (I'm moving house this weekend and won't have time/money to get to a workshop)?

Cheers for any help.

You can remove the neck in situ after in bolting pipes and the column uj iirc.

Easier if Y piece removed, in fact probably impossible with it there!

Speak to Kiley Clinton regarding a seal.
