£15 from Costco.

5 minute shampoo + hosepipe rinse, leave to dry.
5 minutes applying wax
10 minutes taking wax off with the rotary jobbie (should have gone over again with a clean cloth but couldn't be arsed)

Not a bad result for 20 minutes work:

Clicked this thread with some trepidation, so was relieved to see a picture of a shiny car.

Any more details on what you bought? If it's really that quick, I'm interested!

It's just one of these: http://ebay.eu/1aNlcOj "Wax Wizard" mickey mouse stuff I suppose - but it works a treat IMHO.

I'm not one of these people who want a fully detailed and perfect finish every 5 minutes - it's gonna get wrecked in the first 2 miles anyways...

Truth be told, this is the first time I have EVER applied wax to a car... the water beading and stay clean longer effect is apparent and it does look super; over and above a normal shampoo.

Actually I hadn't even washed my own car in over 2 decades before getting the tiv... that's saying something about how the old lady has my heart!

Also worth pointing out for anybody new to this.. like me.. the wax smells FANTASTIC and makes the garage smell lovely... it envelopes the entire car, even when you are driving is a gorgeous smell!
