I find 22psi a little soft, the Toyo side walls are not as rigid as the original Bridgestones, I have mine at 24psi

Yep, mistaken there, 24 is for the fronts, the rears need to be 26 with Toyos

I'm a little worried now...

When I asked my local tyre people they said 28 all round...

When I went to check pressure front was 33 and rear 31!

Your local tyre people do not know what they are talking about, they are used to dealing with shopping cars not TVR's. 30+psi is damn right dangerous.

I run mine at 22 front and 24 rear, regardless of whether road tyres or 888s. 30 plus is what they stick in if you let them. It's like driving a bouncy castle in a force nine gale.

From new 26psi
When they have done a few miles and hardened up a bit on the side wall drop to 24 psi.

I've noticed all the tyre manufacturers are goin soft side wall
Low db level
Fuel economy... And all that
I hate my Goodyear eagle F1 asy tyres for that reason I'm at 30psi rear !,... Never done that before

Just had Toyo T1R's fitted to mine and had to put exactly same post on here because it was like driving on
marbles. Previously had original Bridgestone Potenza's on and they were far more rigid.
I increased pressures as per "Trevor450" ie 24 front, 26 rear and that has improved situation.
Again was informed to recheck once tyres were scrubbed in a bit.

took mine about 1000 miles before they 'scrubbed in a bit'... and that was pushing them as much as I could irked
