Fuel Pump Problem
Discussion
My engine died as I got the car out of the garage this morning (having run for 20 secs or so). Trying to restart it there was no sound from the fuel pump.
Does anyone know if it would run on existing fuel pressure for this long?
I was hammeriting and waxoyling over the weekend so I suspect I could have knocked something.
Any ideas where to start?

Happened on trackday for me too. Spade connector in the multiplug to the ECU worked its way backwards and lost contact under heavy cornering. Pump stopped and the car did likewise. Found that the connector had been inserted the wrong way round inside the plug and so the metal latching pin was not able to hold the connector in. Turned it round and pushed it home. All's well now.
