Chimaera water leak

Can anyone help ... Chimaera has water in drivers footwell ... I think it getting in through the top vent ... not sure though ... Looks like I am going to have to strip the carpet off to see ...

After those awful thunder storms last week, in which my car was parked outside, I got in and went for a drive.
Fortunately not trying to impress anything in a skirt.....

First two bends the car proceeded to deposit about a quarter of a pint of very cold, rather dirty, water on each of my ankles. Never done that before. Clearly telling me off......

Mine parked on drive ...didntexpect to have a water leak ... it will have to be sorted ... Just arrived today was a MONSOON cover ... so should be ok till can sort it ... Thanks for your reply ...Mike ...

The favourite damp patch (!) on mine is down behind the seats..... The half pint under the dash was a new one on me.

If I recall correctly, its been mentioned on here that water can get in through the windscreen washer pipes if not sealed (or stuck) in properly.

Also worth checking around the pedals for any obvious signs of ingress.
