Now it's got colder, I notice a terrible draught from both doors. Part of it comes from where the rear side carpet isn't sealed with the door frame. I will sort that with some good adhesive (any suggestions?)

An even worse draught comes from the bottom of the door - where it presses up against (or not!) the rubber around the frame. I can't think of a cure for this - are all Chimaeras this bad?

There is also a 3" hole down by the footwell, where you gain access to the door hinge bolts - is this normally covered up?

Cheers,

Steve.

some owners have used masking tape on the door to 'bridge the gap', i used a bit of bubble wrap when i was in a hurry one day, hung over the rubber - it stayed there all winter

yep - the hole you're talking about is a fresh air vent. you'd best plug that if you want to warm things up.
