right, I'm guessing some of the responses here, but.......
Has anyone took a bike in their Chim?
It's not at my house at the moment to try, but I'm wondering if it will fit with the bike being taken apart? I was thinking maybe wheels, frame separated in boot or back shelf?
Not the ideal car for transporting things in, but would be lots of fun

I haven't but I'm sure I read on the Griff forum that somebody there transports their bike in the boot. They just need to remove the front wheel.

Looking at th Chim boot, I reckon that would make sense as it is huge.

Hi,

Yes. I managed to fit my Large size Charge Mixer 2010 hybrid bike in the boot. Had to take both wheels off, the seat and post out and take the handlebars off the riser. Mine has mudguards which made it more of a hassle but without those it would be pretty easy. It all fitted in though without needing to use the space behind the seats.

I don't have a spare wheel in my boot though...!

Good luck.

Mark.

Piece of cake, front wheel off and slot in the same kind of way you do the roof. Plenty of room for weekend-away bags too.

used to be able to fit either my road bike or mtb in the boot. both wheels off and generally seat post aswell. I always used to drop it off for service with the bike in the boot then I could cycle to work after dropping it off. Now I have an xkr and the bike doesn't fit arranging servicing etc is a real pain!

Can be a bit tight with the roof off though, danger of damaging the roof with the pedals.
