Just having a bespoke radiator cover made with etched TVR and two lines ,it has a 90 degree lip and is wider than the other one available 730mm long ,115 wide ,10mm lip .

It will be spaced off to allow a bit of air flow and sit further towards the front .

Got to get the holes drilled ,it`s a bit difficult to measure .

The company supplied TVR sill plates since 1993 and other bits and bobs ..

Pictures to follow .

£35 +£5 delivery . They also supply polished bolts but I don`t know the thread size and length I will need .

It will look like this but the correct size .

PH gets more like ttter every day....

....it used to be a largely informative site with reasonably accurate intelligent information & now they can't even be bothered to ensure the title is relevant :sigh:

I suspect PH/TVR is going to dwindle away to nothing if these trends carry on?

Whilst I generally disagree with you because you are usually wrong, in this instance you are spot on chap smile

On a more serious note what is more worrying is the inaccuracy of so much of the information posted, not helped by the fact the people that have the time to type the most have been proven to know the least!

I'm new to these parts of PH, but it seems like a wealth of useful information from a decent bunch of people to me.

Yep, spoke to a few of the guys on here recently and we all seem to have come to the same conclusion BORING frown the countless gauge accuracy threads drive me nuts headache I miss Derek's Nitrous/Drag Racing threads the Turbo's,Chassis builds, alternative ECU's,Interior revamps etc and no one is destroying engines any more eek .......... To be fair it did used to be much better, less st about cars people have just bought, new types of polish available, photos of people's own cars and such like, more technical questions with a wealth of very good and accurate answers, with more big projects and interesting mods.

During my time on here I have found this Forum to be a very useful and friendly place.

There are a few threads that seem to get re-aired every few months - the which Oil or which Tyres - and some boring banter.

However, if you ask a serious technical question or have a problem with your car someone is usually along fairly quickly with some advice or the answer. This will generally include the part, part number, alternative part number, where to buy it,
what to do and more importantly what not to do when you fit it and probably tips on what else to have a look at while you are at it.

Just because people don't post up regularly it doesn't mean they are not out there reading the posts of others.

Remember we were all "new" owners once and stuff that we take for granted now like dash lights being switchable, vaguely indicative temperature and oil gauges etc. can be a matter of concern when you do not know any better.

Good points, I'm actually amazed that no one has collected together all of the best threads about each of the frequently asked questions and made a kind of new user reader guide. It would stop the creation of thousands of useless threads where people keep re-discovering the same things, and leave more air time for interesting and new things... I did consider doing it myself a couple of years ago but just haven't got the time to spare... Maybe when spend runs out of things to do he can have a crack at it :-)

Good for you Daz smile

If people find some stuff boring they should just move on, this is a forum for everyone, especially new owners who are still lovestruck smile It takes all kinds to make the world go round. Some people seem to forget this...

Banter interspersed with useful information is the glue that holds forums like this together. Without it, they would probably die off.

And it's not like we're going to run out of Forum, there's room for information and crap, personally I like both, although I talk more of the latter
