Help with a part

Hi I have recently bought a speed sensor for my chim. Come to change it today and it doesn't fit. It was supplied by tvr power and they say it's the correct one. But it's just too wide to fit the bracket. Any ideas

what diff do you have a BTR OR A GKN?

I have no idea. How would I find out. It's a 93 4.3

The GKN diff has quite large cooling fins on the lower rear part of the casing. Should help you confirm it hasn't been modified

That's the one that doesn't fit. Must have been modified then.
