ETA: Alex, I'll even pick you up on the way so's you can hand me the tenner personally

Any trackdays booked Chilli?
No, although there's one at Snetts this weekend but I don't have the silencers for it
Planning to go Saturday morning for a noise test anyway
Failed the last one (107db) but have reinstated the standard silencer since then, but also removed main cat, so no idea if it'll pass... Suspect not coz its a tad loud at the top end
What about you???

Is that the one you pay over the odds for ?
You never pay over the odds for 2 nights in Louth.........
The trackday is not overpriced in my opinion, there is free tuition all day, that's always extra with any other TDO'S and we can all use some help.
Moreover it's a great atmosphere on the day with dozens of Tivs thundering round. It can't be too far away for you?

Ricardo, you can borrow my track silencers if you like. I think they make about 3-5 decibels difference. The limit on Saturday is 105db. All you will need to do is collect them from me tomorrow (I will be working at Little Abington, just off the A11 south of Cambridge) and post them back afterwards, as I need them for Cadwell next Wednesday.

My car with them on made 101db at 4500 rpm on the noise test last night at Snetterton against a 102db evening limit, but the odd thing was that there was some much louder stuff on track, so after 30 minutes I thought "round objects" and removed them, and was still far from the loudest on track.
Do you need a helmet too?

Nothing booked but I am up for Cadwell in September. Can't do Snetterton at the weekend but have some TD silencers you can borrow but logistics is a problem! Anyone going to Snetterton from the midlands ?

What track? Snetterton this Saturday is 105 dB. As is the TVRCC track day at Cadwell on Monday 9th September according to MSV, who own both tracks. Get your facts right!!
