Is there a universal hose kit out there that I can buy for my Chim for less than £162.00 as I am skint.
However if I can sell my Citroen C3 I will not be skint.

I take it from the specific price you've looked at the ACT kit?

Thing is you need to be careful with Silicon hoses as you do get what you pay for and some of the cheaper ones I've seen taken off cars by Paul and Heath are a waste of money.

I'd be patient and wait till you sell the Citroen

(No thanks I still don't want it smile )

It would be intresting to know what he failure point is, as the Silcone hose is at pretty much atmosphere,( with a clean air filter at least )so never subjected to any of the pressures found in turbo applications, so how do they fail?

I think He's referring to the water hoses, not the plenum elbow... they seem to be under a fair bit of pressure :-)
