Is it a Tvr only part of one from another car, I need it quite urgently so was thinking if I can get on at a motor factors?

I used a bicycle brake inner cable from Halfords...works just fine.

Needed not failed, but yes I have over cooked the inner nylon sleave where it passes over the manifold, so its not very smooth in operation.
I'm off over to French France next week and you can guarantee it will fail when I'm away

I'm afraid it's a genuine one and they ain't cheap!

Try Power or similar.

A lot of people use a universal one or try Venhills in Dorking, they made me a special the same day!

If you have two return springs at the throttle body spindle you may be wise to remove one. Many owners have done this to avoid cable damage and found that throttle response feels better too. Easier to position the throttle peddle as there is less force pushing back on you.

Goggle Spot on Control, or Spot on Cables, near Reading. Give them the old they make better than new. Excellent company I have used before. They do F1, F5000 stuff, first class outfit

Is it worth putting some heat proof sleeving over it if yours is going to run that close to the manifold, or was it a one off?

I've done this now but was a bit late
