Having some annoying clicking noises coming from the drivers door. It's worse when the window is open. It's like it's trying to open on it's own. Hit a bump and the clicking goes nuts! Driving me mad!!

I'm guessing an electrical issue with the mirror mounted door button or latch itself. Just no idea how to fix it!

Anyone had same issue?

Sounds like the curtesy light switch is being slightly engaged by the rubber door pad

Check the door hasn't dropped, or reposition a new pad
Also you might get some adjustment moving the latch inboard a touch

It's probably the switches in the sills. Remove them and clean up the contacts with fine sandpaper.

Had exactly that same sound/effect on my car last week. Found out that the little round rubber pad on the door sill had dropped by about 1cm and was no longer engaging the lock properly and every time the car moved I got this chattering sound. Moved the pad back to correct position and problem solved. Think I must have kicked the rubber pad with my foot when getting in and out of car.
