(I haven't, but I'm curious) What would you spend it on, on the basis that it had to include your daily driver... 10k on the Chim? (easily done) and a 30k 996 turbo to go shopping in? Or maybe a Cerb or Tuscan for 20k, 5k on the Chim, a 5k Golf, and 10k in the slush fund?

Or make it 30k and forget the slush fund smile

Only dreaming, but wonder what others think???

Blimey that's a toughie.

Depends if I could keep the Chimaera and then spend £40K. Would probably buy a mint E39 M5 for daily. Then a Cerb And maybe a decent 4x4 for the Mrs or spend the lot on the best GT3 I could buy.

Mind you....a nice 20v Quattro would be awesome.....it's impossible. Perhaps I'm better of skint so I don't have to make such decisions smile

I am in the process of doing something similar but on a slightly smaller scale. I came into some money unexpectedly (a PPI refund I never asked for would you believe) so had some "spare" cash.

I've just put a deposit down on £25k worth of S&S/Revtech "Harley" that has almost no Harley componenets on it.. 160RWHP, a 280 section rear end, Taylormade wheels, custom everything... It's awesome!

If you have some spare cash in a vehicle fund, don't discount a bike, it makes for a well rounded garage :-) (and takes up less space LOL).

The S&S will be my "Summer" bike, My Victory Vegas will be the "Winter" bike, The Chimaera is my "anytime" car and the TT.... well that's my wife's LOL

For £40k i recon you could get a lowish mileage 997.2 carrera S PDK. Assuming no family responsibilities then you can't go wrong.

laughlaughrofl I've been doing that kind of thing for years... (sensible/ necessary purchases, not inheriting!).
