This is my first post here, I'm a long time lurker but have finally signed up as i hope to buy a PH worthy car soon Hopefully you can help with that! I have just spied this in the classifieds and was wondering of anyone knew the car as the ad says it was TVR owners club car and what you guys think of it.

Shame no interior or engine shots but looks good, especially like the colour. Must be worth a look with that mileage and history. No mention of chassis work but as long as u check condition. Like the dark indicator lenses too.

I went to look at one that was immaculate outside looked new,, but seats collapsed, dash cracked and idled like a pig so I left as the cost of sorting wasn't worth the hassle.

The Chimaera market is a fickle one isn't it. That red one at £8 grand is indeed a nice car, however the earliest model with the early gearbox etc etc. I was advertising my 52,000 miles, 97 plate car on here a month ago (so a full facelift) at £8895 which included over £2ks worth of chassis and suspension work in the last couple of years, but had no luck whatsoever, looks like I shall be keeping it till the spring !
