I really need to spend some time sorting my leaks out - sump, power steering 'U' bend, rocker covers, front crankshaft oil seal, rear crankshaft oil seal............. It doesn't leak any water though wink

You just reminded me Simon - valley gasket is suspect. (Maybe the flame trap seal also as a recent high RPM blast trying to induce more exhaust flames evil saw the top of the O/S rocker cover splattered in oil)

How DO you stop the power steering U bend leaks? Cannot seem to get any movement out of the jubilee clips, though that may be due to the bloody awkward siting of the clips themselves.

I'm taking mine off and dropping it down to Pirtek to knock some proper fittings. There is a kit available in the classifieds on here......

Recently changed all this low pressure hosing due to perishing and have no leaks using 5/8 Goodyear oil hose inc the U bend but to be honest didn't have before either confused

I have a wet patch on the exhaust joint, Y piece to main exhaust, which got me looking. Its a slow ooze, my PS fluid reservoir seems ok, but the steering felt heavier at low speed recently....or is that my imagination?

Too many joins to be honest wink if I make my mind up about using the electic pump like Peters car I will do away with this plumbing altogether and make system more simple and free up some space on the front of the motor to boot wink don't want to add any more to the winter make over otherwise it won't get finished and I don't do down time when spring/sun's up frown
