Sportmotive evolution chassis.
Discussion
I know these are brand new but has anyone taken the plunge and ordered one?
Has anyone had one fitted?
I believe they're about 7K.
I saw it at the Growl this year and it looks really special, all new components, wishbones, uprights, hubs etc, really fantastic!
It is designed to slot an LS in but you can of course use the good old Rover.
It really is a work of art, start saving

Isn't the evolution chassis just made of Twiglets & Sellotape?
I'm going to knock one up tonight in the pub.
I'm thinking Dairylea cheese triangles for the uprights
Here are some that were carved earlier from billet cheese-u-minium. Make sure your mice are very accurate where they nibble the holes I'm going to knock one up tonight in the pub.

The extra cross braces on the back bone ,apart from weight what would be the advantage of having aluminium uprights.
Think the chassis at the front is slightly wider for the LS engine .
To put a LS engine in a Griff or Chim doesn't need a wider chassis at the front. But having extra width makes it easier to route the exhaust downwards instead of forwards (if you should so desire).Think the chassis at the front is slightly wider for the LS engine .
Alloy uprights aren't about them just being made from alloy. It is about having the whole suspension geometry designed to suit the vehicle. Why did TVR make so many changes from the Griff/Chim to the Cerb/Tuscan? One thing that the Sierra upright gives is a lot of kingpin inclination. The Sportmotive ones (like the t-car units) have much less ...

Have you seen how short the wishbones are on the Tamora ? that's why it handles so well ,The sportmotive chassis still uses long wishbones
Those wishbones have been made by Nick at Willow sports cars for years nothing new !

Well you won`t need anything stronger with the little 4l .It`s back heavy with the Gas cylinders so a couple of twigs tied with string will be fine for your front end
