Chimaera 400 water pump

Help.the water pump is leaking on my chimaera,its a 1993 pre serp where can I get one from.

I got a water pump delivered for about £30 from Rimmer Bros. Their web site isn't easy to navigate, so give them a call.

Pre serps are different.....

Typically you can get pattern parts from Rover Sd1's and cut down the nose, or try and get suitable parts via TVR Power or the like. Unlike the serps which all use the same pump, the pre-serp pumps were not used on LR's just SD1's, MG's, Triumph, Morgan... and even then variations with the nose which was designed for a viscous coupling (fan).

I think RPI has them but he aint cheap.

Thanx guys,looked on Rimmer Bros site,so many different ones, eventually found the correct one and at £130.00 ish, getting to be a expensive hobby now,£800 in the last 6 weeks,an still no closer to booking it in for a mot

They normally do a third party one that is cheaper. As I said, give them a ring, it is normally quicker!

What next,,, clutch pedal high and very stiff, is the clutch on its way out? how easy is it to do on my own.
