Has anyone tried one of these kits, http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/sno-20010 I believe you can set it to start injecting at a given throttle position or map value.it would suit me because where i live 95 octane is as high as you can get locally consequently i have to back my timing off a smidge to keep it happy. haven,t researched availability of methanol or the effect on total fueling, also imagine you probably need to find room for 20 odd liters of water/methanol mix. sounds like a good option for the un-naturally aspirated fraternity out there.

There is a large thread on ls1tech about this, there was gains proven on a dyno but hardly worth it

I imagine the benefits are more likely to be in the charge cooling/density increasing area rather than in any discernible octane raising effect... Have seen Aquamist system being used to good effect on a tweaked 997 where it inhibits timing advance being 'prematurely' backed off by the EMS. Not sure if that's knock detector driven or intake temperature, or both. Giving impressive real world gains whatever... yes
