Ok so next weekend I'll finally start the front end (and rear) and have just been thinking I may as well get anything out the way which might be knackered or need doing while I'm at it because the weather hasn't turned crap yet.

Got the 324mm brake conversion (new fluid).
Gaz gold monos
steve heath drop links
engine mounts
left ball joint (knackerd) - shall i just do both sides at once?
track rod ends (knackered)

rear discs, pads

Does anyone know what the steering column coupler/joint/UJ is from as there is a bit of play in mine so I might change that.
I can't really think of anything else but any recommendations welcome

I am sure that a proper ride height adjstment and four wheel alignment after the suspension joint changes is on your list, but it wasn't on the list of the dealer who changed the track rod ends on mine prior to selling it to me, and it was horrible to drive until it was done....

thanks mate, yeah i forgot to add i want to get a proper Geo setup.
I was racking brains tonight about any little parts which I may as well change while I'm doing all this but couldn't think of any. Rear ARB isn't fitted so dont need to worry about that.
I've bought full front polybush kit but i'm not sure if thats getting fitted or not, i will check the original ones first.
I wasn't sure if clutch fluid would be worth changing over maybe

Might as well Polybush the front ARB and change the brake fluid.

I use Halfords racing brake fluid, really good stuff!

If you've got the brakes out then new braided hoses would be worth fitting.

+1
They will make so much of difference to the feel of the brakes, there is no spongy feel at all,it is just a hard pedal with plenty of feel
