So my GKN diff appears to have an oil leak - not a serious one but potentially one to leak enough between oil change services to drop the level - most noticeable after run when oil is warmn rather than dripping when cold.

So what are the likley culprits for the diff and what sort of costs would you expect - have check fill/drain tightness & not obvious where is coming from.

Pinion seal, drive shaft seals, end cover gasket ..... think that covers it

Blocked breather might be the root cause though.

As stated, if you've recently changed the oil it could be the breather just finding its level.
