4.0 big ends

putting a set of big ends into the chim however part no on old shells are part no. erc 2587 which has been superseded by part no rdc2117 which says theyre for fitment of a 3.9 pre serp engine.... mines is a serpentine & car is a 1995.
anybody changed big ends on theyre 4.0 serpintine chimaera or can anyone offer any light on the subject please

Just the small journal bearings as per 3.5/3.9 engines, only thing you need to make sure is that you get an extra plain lower bearing + single upper thrust bearing. Sourcing quality bearings is probably more important (like avoid britpart...) ~ probably easiest to just ask V8D / TVRpower for a set at least you know they are using them on TVR's..
