I can not find any TOYO tyres at any of my local places to fit.

What do people recommend?

I got a decent price on the T1Rs this week from Event Tyres, with mobile fitting, so check them out if you haven't already bought them

I have just ordered a pair of Uniroyal Rainsport 2 for the back of mine. I'll update once I've had them fitted. Unfortunately they're not available in the standard front size, so I'll be going for Bridgestone RE002 on the front.

Wrong again Daz nono

Sure, Rainsports do take a fair while to scrub in but once that's over mine have proved to be fantastic in the dry.

They are not track day tyres though, but neither is the Toyo T1R.

Both are nothing more than good all weather road tyres, but if you only drive on the road that makes them perfect.

The Rainsports however have such deep treads they look like they'll easily last 30,000 miles.

And yes, they are excellent in the rain too wink

Honestly, I'm very happy with them yes

You only drive sedately around Europe ,looking at the tread on the rainsport its seems to have more deep wide grooves than rubber on the tarmac.

T1R`s are a lot more sticky than rainsports.

Love my RE002 - far superior to my previous Toyo T1-Rs IMHO.

I`m only having a joke ,no offence ,I do have a point regarding the massive tread width .

The Gas bag probably does another 2mpg with those tyres ,less rubber on the road .biggrin

Back on track, try camskill, mytyres or blackcircles, online suppliers fitted at a local centre. Much wider choice and probably cheaper
