Had her eight years, and she has finally given up on holding out to the old riggers rot!

Offside tubing seperated on a run out,not as bad as it sounds but won't pass the MOT now.

Body off jobby next week.

Outriggers to be replaced. and total rub down and repaint of chassis.

Going to get the diff refurbed, as slight whining when not under accelleration,so easy access with body off.

Renew heat shield material around engine bay, powder coat rocker covers and plenum.

Everything else already done, anything else i may have missed...doubt over eight years but .......

Not necessarily need the body off but Camshaft?

If it's anything like what my one was like, it was made of chocolate.

Get galvanized out riggers. No more problems ever. Better resale value.

SD AUTOTEC in Boroughbridge Dave...

He takes the body off to get at the riggers correctly and totally repaint the chassis area, which then releases the chance to do all the jobs, that can be difficult with the body on.

Not much left to be done tbh,as most are aware..

By the way, sold the Griff recently, to fund the work i want to do and a bit more..

And yes the RR session still to do,so once all this sorted, its next on the list.

Just checked out your link, who is the painter in Marden that Dan recommends, I saw his car and agree that the paint looks good.

Thanks Gregor, but the cost is to much for me personally, when the main chassis is fine and its just the riggers....

Are you sure? I don't want to be party pooper but if riggers gorn, other less visible bits might be going same way.
