Hi all,

As the topic says anyone know this one being sold by TVR MADS

www.tvr-mads.co.uk/BIG3765.html

Been lurking on this forum for a while mainly interested in a Tuscan MK1 but for various reasons my budget has diminished. This one caught my eye as maybe an intro to TVR's. seems to have had the right work done but the Nitros kit does concern me, would appreciate opinions from experienced owners ( re reliability and condition rather than style as I love the look).

Also any recommendations or no comments regarding the dealer?

Thanks in advance

Nitrous has moved on quite a bit since the eighties. On the road it would hardly be used much in reality and 99% of the time your driving a standard unstressed car, just a little treat now and then. Depends on the system, has it a progressive controller, set up rich? Car looks nice but for the wheels and rear lights. Love the front.

Cheers Mac, nice wheelie pic biglaugh it seems to have had a fair amount of work done to engine, outriggers etc but I have no idea how much stress the NOS would put a 17yr old engine?

I'd also hoped that the car or previous owner might be known so I could get some insight. First time nerves and all that.

haven't been to see it yet, sent an email to the dealer who's about 170 miles from me.

Pic was about 2 years ago at Bedford aerodrome, not quite GMKD in that one I always seem to have to work hard to get my stubby pins on the deck, love the v-twin grunt of the mille.

OK help me out forum, anyone know this car?

love it the whole shooting match, wheels lights front and windows lol go buy it. Nice to see some imagination and some one who steps outside the box, don't like the usual standard wheels or the standard front ends, but hey I even like purple lol.

Looks fantastic. Not usually a fan of the twin headlight conversion but the colour and interior look great.
TVR mads is a good dealer as well - nice chap.
I live about ten miles away, would be happy to come along as someone whos owned two chim's. Can't advice much on the NOS though.

Cheers for the offer but SWMBO has put her foot down. I have to sell my bike engined kit car first. It's advertised but no amount of man maths will convince her that I should snap up a rare TVR first.

Anyone looking to buy a BEC so I can go TVR shopping?
