Water ingress again

The wifes Chim lives outdoors all year. In previous winters all has been ok but I have just gone out and looked in it to find a small duck pond of water on the rear parcel shelf!

No obvious signs of where it is getting in so I call upon the learned people here to offer their knowledge of common water leak areas that affect the rear shelf (car is parked slightly nose up so you get an impressive lake on the shelf)

Hood needs re-proofing probably although stitching around plastic window may have gone also. Re-proof or repair and think about a cover (for the top half of car).

Thanks for that. The hood looks as though it could do with re-proofing as the rain is not beading on it at all. The seam around the rear windows looks good.

It has lived under a full cover for a couple of years but the cover is now old and it was promoting mildew growth in the car. Opinions seem to vary on the benefits of a full cover. A top cover may be the answer though.
