Started the big strip down prior to removing the body from my serp chimaera. The metal coolant pipes that attach to the nearside rocker cover are past their best and will need replacing when the big build up happens! I know i can buy stainless replacements but they are pretty pricey at £159 plus VAT.Anyone got any other suggestions? I have seen a couple of old threads regarding replacement altogether with flexible pipe, has anyone done this and could you share any photos please?
Cheers Paul.

Bend some 15mm stainless tube up and route the circuit down the centre of the valley and under the inlet manifold - needs a 'U' bend off the manifold union but can easily be done in silicone. Really neatens things up and makes access to the offside rocker box area much better yes
