Booked my first ever track day smile As an older bloke this is strange coz I've loved motorsport all my life, and despite owning some fairly quick road cars over the years, I've never been on a track... So, this is it smile It's a sort of bucket list, I've done lots of stuff that others probably haven't, like ski'd down mountains, flown planes, and dived (for a living).... I love mountain biking, and I row to keep fit smile Last month I went up the strip at the Pod... That too was a first, and I have to admit I was bricking it... smile

I'm 62 next year, but I'm discovering that life can be as exciting and exhilerating as you want it to be...

God bless TVR's.... they're part of the staying young process biggrin

Snetterton, Saturday 16th November. Get booking - Javelin Track Days, IIRC. £129 for a full day at a really good track, lot's of space if you make a mistake. A real chance to give your car some beans like it was designed for. TVRs are very rewarding on the track.
There are already several of us booked, Phazed and moi included, more the merrier.

Enjoy it Chilli! Nothing like the sensation of track driving in my opinion (though racing is a different buzz) a real adrenaline kick!! Snett is a cracking track too!

Still £129 on the website and only 12 places left, let's hope the weathers good.

Snetterton is a great track for your first time, even with its recent additions. It's also the coldest place in Norfolk! laugh

i would love to do this as my first track day, especially as the monos and brakes will be on by then, it's just about a 3 hour drive frown
