My chim sounds so great that words often fail me thankfully the mechanic who looks after it for me says that "it sounds like God shouting".

Apparently Jeremy Clarkson described it as "two lesbians in a bucket" I don't get that one so much but it flows well.

What is the best description you've come across?

It sounds a like a Brontosaurus with piles being taken from behind by another, very large, Brontosaurus.

Anyone noticed that the exhaust makes a very good distance indicator when reversing towards a wall? An inverse square ratio of aural ecstacy versus distace I shouldn't wonder. Better than that annoying beeping as fitted by BMW.

Remembering back to my time in uniform I should have remembered to refer to it as 'wide band jamming' or 'aural disorientation device' as used at Wacho!
