Well decide now is the time to take Cherry off the road for the winter and sort out the interior and a couple of other little bits.

Showing her age inside.

So the strip down begins

One major worry.. ( opinions gratefully recieved)

And a bit of TVR normality.

However Finally got all the old carpet out after many minutes of will I be able to remember how to put it all back together moments.

Agreed. That's what mine looked like when the battery was boiling over. Tasted of acid. Time to change the battery and get a pro to check the charging.

Sorry....but objetcion....the same picture you will get if the ECU/it´s carpet/areal is longtime wet.

Over the ECU is the old heat-exchanger with old pipes, old hose clamps and oldrubber hoses.
All slowly worn-out and rosted.

Certainly also the battery can be a reason but check the heating too to be sure.

Regards from far....

Love this! I would really like to have a go at doing this with a Chimaera. Renew all the wiring and fix it in neatly.

Did you take many photos of the installation Gregor?
