coil mounting.

Ok I thought this would be straight forward, got a new coil, cleaned and painted the hanger, and cleaned up the ignition module.

bolted it all together and go it fir it all back onthe car, but the ignition module fouls on the plenum...

what the heck have i managed to do, does anyone have a pick of exactly how the 3 bits, coil,ignition module, hanger bracket all bolt together.. is it just me not putting something back in the right order

or it is the usual tvr fit... ie. needs a bit of persuasion..

I had the same problem, trouble is I'm 60 miles away from the car & age does not allow me to remember the right procedure. I just persevered & tried different options until it all fitted in ! Sorry I can't be any more help.

Is the plate for the ig module mounted between the bracket and the coil bracket, or on the inside of the mount bracket

I think thats my problem, ive mounted it on the inside and that puts it too close to the plenum.
It just looks odd mounted between as that means the coil doesnt mount flat.

Usual tvr bodge i suppose lol
