I did mine earlier this year, if you have any questions post 'em up and I'll do my best to help. It really is pretty easy, just time consuming.
Thanks I will definitely take you up on that
Did you bother putting any underlay or anything under the carpet, And how did you go about the holes for the seat bolts?.
Cheers

I replaced underlay only where the old stuff was damaged when removing the carpet or it had come loose.

I used large square washers set into the carpet on the inside for the seat to 'sit' on. The seat bolts through the square washers and drilled steel bar on the underside, held together with nylocks and large penny washers.

That looks like a really good solution for the seats will definitely copy that thanks I used large square washers set into the carpet on the inside for the seat to 'sit' on. Still stripping bits down and sealing everything I can think of at the minute though.
The dash veneer has definitely past its best so I have ordered some carbon fibre wrap to refinish that for now ( May replace next year funds allowing ).

I've done this too. I was unnerved by the thought of the load that would be transmitted through four points in the floor and came up with this as a way of distributing the load.
The bars fit into recesses on the undersurface of the GRP. You should measure the width of the recess so that the bars sit flat in the recess, and do not contact the sides as they go in.
I put a ton of slikaflex between the bars and the car. This means there should be no chance of water ingression through the floor, and also the bars now stay on when I lift the seats out.
