I have been thinking about what to buy beastie for Christmas scratchchin

Apparently, there's not many shopping days left, and if you're thinking about mail order or whatever it's called then you've also got to consider postal mayhem and delays as the festive onslaught gathers momentum...

There's about 34 days left before the big one, so I reckon decisions have to be made within the next two weeks if we're to avoid a very disappointed P&J sitting in the garage (or on the drive etc). And we all know how they can be if they don't get what they want. It's even worse if they've overheard you mention stuff like big brakes or coil packs. And they don't materialise....

So, what are you buying that special someone (no not her, the one with tyres on) this Christmas smile

Note: a miniature xmas tree glued on the dash doesn't count smile

New seats, although they may have to wait till our 10th anniversary in Feb ( me and the car that is) as I already have an electric nut gun on santa's list.

The list is growing:

Accusump
Oil cooler
New set of 888s
Track seats
Full harness belts
New carpets
Front end re-spray
Roof seal replacements

But most of all I need to clear our one garage and get him into the dry.

Don't laugh, just bought this for the old darling!

It's a Lotus race seat, got it for £150, should be delivered in the next day or two.

Thoughts are, recolour the pads to a neutral colour and bolt it in for TDs.

nuts

Oops, didn't load the piccy!

Following the engine swap I've overtaken a few too many parked cars sideways so I'm giving the chimp what she and I both need for Christmas - Handling! I've already got the GAZ adjustables and Cosworth brake upgrade (had that for a while actually - i'm just too lazy to fit it), just need to find suitable wheels that ze German authorities will let me fit (I 'have' to sell mine although I love the style!), and then I can get the Toyos and have the geo set-up right. Awesome.

Just moving the Chim out of the bedroom and back into the garage will be enough for most women........
