Near flat battery last night, turned over but didn't fire, after a couple of attempts battery wouldn't crank the engine. So, this morning I stuck the charger on... just been out to try and start her up, plenty of bright ignition lights etc, but on pressing the fob (tried both) the fuel pump won't whir and stuff.... so no cranking either...

Any ideas guys?

Thanks, Chilli frown

Aside from the fuel pump relays, the feed to the pump runs through the Meta immobiliser and the inertia switch.

Inertia sw is reset by pressing, under dash passenger side in front of glove box/pouch thing.

Hitting the dash, normally centrally might be enough to get the relay contacts in the immobiliser to work again.

Immobiliser can be bypassed, if this proves to be the problem

Good news, sounds like it was the immobiliser not reset, happy motoring!
Also, I should have notIced when you said that both the pump and starting circuits weren't working, they both go through the immobiliser and it would be unlikely they would both have failed at the same time.
