Sloshing noise!

Took the Chimaera out this morning as I don't like to let it go more than a few days without a short run.
Lots of sloshing noises coming from the front passenger side of the car.
I checked the drain holes in the passenger door and they're fine - no water in the door at all.
Is there anywhere else it could be hiding that anyone can think of? Of course, it could be the cooling system....arse.
What do the Chimaera Collective think?

That's the one! What needs doing, Matt. Does the system need draining and refilling or something?
Its the first time its happened on our car. Strangely enough shortly after a service.
Blasted car needs to go in to get the Odometer fixed and now this probably! A***!

Turn your heater on to full hot, open the swirl tank (not the overflow blue topped tank- the other one) at the screw type top and top up right to the top. Loosen off the bleed screw at the top of the rad until it hisses. When,it's bled, coolant comes out with no bubbles in. Tighten up the bleed screw(pinch up - don't over tighten) then top up the swirl tank to the top,screw the lid back on. Then I usually half fill the overflow tank. Check for leaks in your system though. Mine had a piddly little leak that meant I had to go through this palarva every week for ages. New rad - problem gone. Hope this helps.

When you fill up the system is the engine running???? Mine used to slosh sometimes - did it on and off for years. Heater worked, cooling system was fine, topped up through swirl pot but it still did it a bit. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you're fully topped up in all the right places.
BTW - you mention the odo not working. If you haven't already I suggest leaving it for a few hundred miles as it may fix itself - they are known to get stuck on rollovers such as 999 to 000 miles etc.

I'll keep an eye on it. We'll probably get it checked over before long.
BTW: The odo has stuck on the 9999 to 10,000. The 19,999 to 20,000, the 29,999 to 30,000 the 39,999 to 40,000 and now unusually the 42999, to 43000.

But I figure its better to keep tipping it over the edge or getting it moved on than it is to replace it...

I know the consensus seems to be cooling, BUT, I had a similar sloshing noise from said passernger side. I also checked the door drain holes and all was dry as a bone. 
Noticed the noise again and again checked the door. This time a fair amount of water came out. This time I was parked on an incline. The holes arent at the bottom the door so some water was being retained. Might be worth a look....

I am experiencing two separate noises which could be considered to be of the 'sloshing' variety! 
Firstly I have been getting sloshing when I slow down rapidly (a fair amount in London) which I think is water in the doors or sills on the driver's side.
The second, and much more worrying, is a sound that seems to me to be more of a sucking/squeezing sound like sucking liquid through a long straw..... coincides with acceleration and I was beginning to think it may be down to the fuel pipe to the engine.
Is this the same thing you are talking about.......?

The door sloshing thing is well known.
I did some cleaning out and got some water out of them. The cooling system appears also to have pushed whatever air bubbles were causing grief into the expansion tank at last and no untoward noises have since emanated from the car.
