Quick battery question...

Want to buy my boss a Christmas pressie that's going to be usefull and so I was thinking of an Optimate for his Fezza 355 - he uses it very rarely and it's always either got a flat battery or the battery has been cooked silly by being left on charge.

Question is - what's the difference between the "Optimate" and the "Accumate" (or the "Accumate Pro") and which should I get him?

Save yourself some beer vouchers, just tell him to disconnect the battery with the kill switch (under a panel in the "boot")

Well last year he did give me a £1,300 remote control for Xmas that he knew I wanted (but would never afford) so hence this year I reckon I should get him something ... anyway, strange as it may seem I really like my boss and my job.

Personally I think he should just drive it more - the first year I was here he did 640 miles in it and last year I think it was 170 miles. Don't know what he's done this year.

I do however know he's had the battery replaced twice in the last three years

The kill switch sounds far too simple and cheap a solution though...
