Can anyone advise where i can source a set x5 of chim coolant hoses - standard rubber type o/e spec? Perhaps part nos - are they a LR part or bespoke?

Most suppliers seem to sell the silicone variety but i'm not interested in these?

Andy,

The usual suspects; Racing Green, TVR Power, Racetech Direct etc.

I suspect you will find few if any. I managed to replace all of mine about 2 1/2 years ago and was informed that I was lucky to get two of them as they were the last in stock.

Should you locate a source, I would be pleased to know, once you have got yours of course smile
Good luck.

Do they have to be original hoses?

Lol! I appreciate both the arguments for modding and keeping original.

Original, then TVR specialist dealers are the place. Otherwise, I have replace all the hoses on my Chim with the ASH ones and they're fine. Although, I have found you need better clips with the silicone hoses.

I'd go black silicon with new proper hose clamps.

I can sort you out a full set of matt black silicone hoses.

They look exactly like standard rubber hoses, but have all the advantages of silicone.

The kit comes with proper stainless T bolt clamps, a massive step up from feeble Jubilee worm drive clips.

Hi I sent you a PPM yesterday although PH was inconsistent at times - I'm interested in your kit - can you contact me to discuss?

Hi Andy, I did not recieve your PM.

I should explain the kit is in development & will likely become available in the new year.

I am working with the manufacturer, the first kit will go on my car, I'll be offering a second kit on first refusal & at cost price to Phazed (Peter) in return of a favour he did for me.

Further full priced kits will be produced on demand and supplied direct from the manufacturer, I receive no financial benefit from these kits.

I'll keep you all posted as the project progresses.

There's a superinjunction in place at the moment that prohibits further discussion but lets just say that the term "gagging order" has never been more appropriately applied... hehe
