For those that have had the faired in headlights fitted, how the hell do you adjust them?

I've looked in the wheel arch access panel and can't see anything remotely like an adjuster frown

It seems like they were fitted in a fixed position, Shirley not !

There are two lock nuts on the front suspension. That should do it?

Actually, I have had a diet of Puffin, Whale and Reindeer tonight! For some reason, I decided to have pot of coffee before turning in and if it wasnt blowing a blizzard, could be tempted to go for a walk!

Was that the chosen fiest of the night or were you at a special "Restaurant for nutters"?

Sorry for joining you in OT comments......when I was there with RAF/USAF only major roads around Reykjavik and south to Kaflavik Airport are tarmac, but just about the rest are oiled scree roads - Unless you have the Amercian 4x4 V8's with huge tyres, best not to take your P&J!! Lots of speed traps in Touristy areas - Blue Lagoon - brill place. Beautiful county in May - Sep then it just gets dark lit up by Northern Lights - lots of it at the minute with the Sun at its max 11-year peak!! Highly recommended for the experience - not necessarily for hooning......IMVHO

Business only Peter and on my way home now at the airport.

Re comments on the road. The dual carriageway away from the International airport was down to single lane of packed snow when arrived in the early hours of Tuesday. Sitting in the passenger seat of the taxi doing 120 km/hr was not that enjoyable!

Just a little bump.

Shirley someone has adjusted these?

Buggered if I can see any adjusters.

Methinks that there is a distinct possibility that there are none!

Might be worth a call to Ian at Sportmotive?

Hi Mate

Got mine fitted by Ian at Sportmotive.

There are three adjusters with flat head screwdriver slots in the ends. Its a right pain in the A$%e to adjust them. I ended up using washers between the headlight and the fibreglass where they are fitted. Hope this makes sense. I also ended up making an additional hole in the wing so I could get to things more easily.

If its just for an MOT, the suggestion of changing the ride height isn't a bad one to avoid the hassle.

Cheers

Liam

Thanks for that, I think that makes sense .

I'll have a good look tomorrow.

As you said, access isn't good, I'll i think I'll have to enlarge or make smother access point, what an arse!

I glued a bolt and threaded collar onto the back of each adjuster screw as I can simply use a 4mm Allen key to adjust mine through the wheel arch inspection hole. Works very well.

That's helpful.

What was there before you glued the sleeve on?

I certainly think that's what I have.

So hiw many adjuster screws are there on each light assembly?

There wasn't anything there - it was just the back end of the orignal adjuster screw. There are 2 of these on each lamp as far as I remember.

Bearing in mind I bought my lamps in Germany and they are LHD versions, the lamp itself may also differ from yours regarding how they are adjusted.
