Evening,

Theres a thread just been posted on the Cerbera forum asking just how big is the "pose factor" /attention getting and grin factor.
How would you guys say the Chim compares and what tales have you got of posing, scaring people to death on start up and general admiration/hatred of the car.

We drove Chim to Rome. Just about everywhere we stopped in Italy (and sometimes when we didn't) we caused a crowd!

Just trying to give them a bit more publicity after all we out number them about 10 to one!

And before somebody say's quality not quantity!

B*ll*cks Chims attract far more attention than Griffs and that's what really P's the Griff boys off!

Lights blue touch paper and rapidly retires.

I find that nobody gives the Chimaera a second glance in the UK. Particularly at PH meets.

Seriously, we get more attention in our 14 year-old Lotus Elan which is worth less than half of what the Chimaera is.

Still, that suits me.

Pose? Nil. It’s a car. Novelty factor has expired.

Cerbera next.

Got to agree with JonRB here. Ours very rarely turns heads around here, perhaps because it's a small place and most have seen it, but nobody ever seems to care. I like it that way it means you can pootle around knowing you are not going to get the Lax Power treatment. I suspect because it's dark blue that helps too - I call it going round in stealth mode.
However. If I decide I should be seen, a gear or two lower than necessary gets even the deafest OAP looking
I'm afraid in the south if you want to get noticed it has to be a little more out of the ordinary than a TVR.

But as Big Al says. Take it abroad and it's a different story all together - I lost count of the people who nearly got run over by stopping in the street and staring as we went by.
