Hi,

I am try to trace three of the wires in the white 24 way multiplug that connects the wiring engine loom to the dash loom, the pictures show the plug from the dash loom and the wire colours are :-

Pink
Black/white
Green/pink At lest I think the tracer is pink.

Only a few wires are required from that plug, see here, (scroll near to the end):

Hopefully that will help you.

I think its important to note, if you are re-looming it's a good time to consider separating the engine management & car looms into distinct modules (ie keep dash stuff & starter in different connectors & cable bunches from the ecu).

Thanks guys,

I have seen the ECU page and have found it useful, I have also re loomed the engine bay separating the looms as you said via a MS relay board for ease of install.
The only thing left is to identify these wire to see where they go and what they do, I can't find find them physically after they disappear from the dash into the body by the windscreen pillar on the passenger side. I don't have a tone tracer and don't want to by one unless it is a last resort.

Spend,

I will check further, the real problem is the pink which is a smaller gauge than the pinks in the front loom which feed the cooling fans from the cooling relay.
