Does this help? You can see that they're about 12" forward of the gear lever. You'll have to remove the centre bolster and they should be just under the dashboard. (The picture is from my Griffith but I think they are in the same place)
They are a pain to locate, trace the consule under the dash with your fingers, eventually you will feel the reccess. you will have to cut the carpet to access them. Both of mine had earth cables attached. Once found they were easy to undo.
